PROUDLY PRESENTS

The 11th Annual Art Show

Dates: Tuesday, August 16, 2022 to
Thursday, August 18, 2022
Location: Cunneen-Hackett Arts Center, Grand Parlor,
9 Vassar Street, Poughkeepsie

The exhibit, now in its eleventh year, features Dutchess County artists whose art inspires, raises awareness, and promotes the mission of Mental Health America.

Each participant is unafraid to break through barriers and to push limits in support of the vision of Mental Health America of Dutchess County. Many of our artists are getting their first opportunity to demonstrate their talent within the community and this has lifted the aspirations of everyone involved.

We have opened submissions to all including clients, staff, and local community members. If you have questions or are interested in submitting your work, please contact Joanna at 845-473-2500 x3015, via cell at 845-505-3877, or email [email protected].

2021
Virtual
 Art Show

MHADC’s annual art show was a fixture at the Mid-Hudson Heritage Center during the month of May dating back to 2011. May is nationally recognized as “mental health awareness month.” Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we moved the art-show online last year. This year we will continue to host works of art online, and year-round. Please stop by often as we will continue to update the show and highlight different artists.

To help promote togetherness and a sense of community, we opened the art show to all including clients, staff, and those in the community.

The exhibit, now in its tenth year, features Dutchess County artists whose art inspiresraises awareness, and promotes the mission of Mental Health America. Each participant is unafraid to break through barriers and to push limits in support of the vision of Mental Health America of Dutchess County. Many of our artists are getting their first opportunity to demonstrate their talent within the community and this has lifted the aspirations of everyone involved.

MHADC envisions a society in which every individual is treated with dignity and respect and where comprehensive mental health services of the highest quality are available and accessible to all.

Thank you for supporting the arts and please enjoy the exhibit!

Note: The submitting artists are interested in and welcome constructive criticism or praise on their artwork! Please do not hesitate to contact Joanna at 845-505-3877, or email jlagrande[at]mhadutchess.org to submit a comment or to inquire about purchasing.

Thank you again for supporting the creative endeavors of our local artists!
