What is the program like?
First, you meet with someone one-on-one to share about your situation. Our program leaders are fellow parents and certified Family Peer Advocates who have a long experience of working with mental illness. They’ll introduce you to the program and work with you to understand what you need. You’ll be able to meet and socialize with other parents during family activities and group support.
How do I participate?
If you’re interested in participating, ask your therapist or mental health counselor to call Sue at 845-473-2500 x1321 to refer you to the program. Don’t be afraid to give us a call yourself if you need more information, but registration must come from your counselor.
