Outreach Assistant
Full Time 35 hours per week. $19.00/hr Pleasant Valley Location
Duties:
The Outreach Assistant will work out of the Dutchess County Office. The Outreach Assistant will report to the Outreach Coordinator and to the Director of Veterans Programs. The Outreach Assistant will be responsible for planning and coordinating outreach events in Dutchess and Orange County; interacting with potential enrollees to explain the programs and will be expected to attend some wellness events put on at the Dutchess and Orange County Offices. Some marketing experience preferred.
Qualifications:
- Must be a veteran
- High School Diploma or GED required, Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Self-starting, motivated individual able to work flexible hours.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required.
- An understanding of the population being served, its needs, intervention strategies, culture, and available services.
