Compeer CORPS

Are you or a family member a veteran in Dutchess County suffering from PTSD, suicidal thoughts, TBI, depression, addiction or any other mental health issues? Do you feel lonely and wish you had one-on-one support to get your life on track?

Compeer CORPS is a program which matches veterans with other veterans who are trained mentors, able to help you make and meet goals, engage in social activities, and access support services.

  • Emotional support
  • One-on-one counselling
  • One-on-one social activities
  • Group social activities
  • Peer matching & mentorship

What is the program like?

We’ll work with you to match you to another veteran who understands what you’re going through. Where you go from there depends on your needs and what you and your peer mentor decide on.

How do I participate?

If you’re ready to get help, call Adam at 845-473-2500 x1307. No referral is necessary. Support is available to all veterans, regardless of era, discharge date, type of discharge or dependency status.

If you’re interested in becoming a mentor, please let us know!
